Turning Passion into Power
Dance has been my journey from self-expression to global connection.
What started as a passion grew into a mission to perform, to inspire and to empower others through movement. Every stage, every battle, every workshop is a chance to transform energy into impact and passion into power.

About Me
My name is David and dance has been a part of my life since 2004. I started dancing in school and it was just something I loved to do.. Over time it grew into something more. I began teaching, performing and traveling to countries like Kenya, Switzerland, Thailand and New Zealand.
For me dance is more than moving my body. It's about telling a story of being strong, creative and connected to others. I didn't have much when I started. No studio, no floor and not many resources. But I was determined so I practiced anywhere I could: on concrete in fields and sometimes walking far just to train. Those tough times helped me get better at dancing. Also helped me figure out why I was doing it: to inspire others to believe in themselves.
Over the years I've performed on stages worked with different artists and companies and taught students from all kinds of backgrounds. My work led to creating Davidvid Connect, a platform thats all about connecting people and inspiring them through dance.
I think dance is not about learning steps. It's, about feeling more confident breaking down barriers and finding new opportunities. My goal is to help, guide and inspire the generation of dancers and dreamers. I want to show them that no matter where you come from if you have passion and keep working you can achieve anything.
This website is a place where I share my story offer classes and workshops and connect with people who love dance and growth. If you're here to learn book me for a performance or just get inspired I welcome you to join me on this journey.
Dance is not something I do. Its who I am and its how I connect with others.

Collaborations & Trusted By
I’ve had the privilege to perform, teach, and collaborate with organizations and events around the world.

From Concrete Courts to Global Stages
I started dancing in 2004 with nothing but passion and determination. Back then, I had no access to studios, music, or proper gear. I trained wherever I could on concrete basketball courts and grassy fields because something inside me knew dance was part of my purpose.
To attend training at Mt View, along Waiyaki Way in Nairobi, I often walked or ran over 15 kilometers. I couldn’t afford bus fare, but I never let that stop me. I kept moving because dance wasn’t just something I did, it was who I was becoming.
Since then, my journey has taken me across Kenya, Switzerland, Thailand, and now living in New Zealand. I’ve had the privilege of performing and teaching around the world, connecting with people through rhythm, culture, and creativity.
Today, dance for me is more than movement; it’s mentorship, it’s resilience, and it’s proof that your dream is always worth the fight. My mission is to inspire the next generation of dancers to rise above limitations and believe in their greatness
